Hey, dragonbonded! 

We are a few hours away from the end of the campaign and we've unlocked the 280K Stretch Goal, which means that the Deluxified Character Sheets will be included in your game ready and above tiers, congratulations!

What's next? 

It has been quite a journey this campaign and our gratitude is beyond belief for your support, we are very excited to start producing Itza's Guide to Dragonbonding. 

After the campaign ends we'll move our schedule for updates to once a month to give you regular information on how development and production are going, BUT that doesn't mean that we won't be in touch with all of you, please continue the discussion and excitement over at our discord server, where myself and the development team will be more than happy to keep the excitement for this and upcoming projects in the Dragonbond Universe, believe me, we have a few surprises that you don't want to miss. 

Dragonbonded Spotlight

Now that you are almost ready to start your own dragonbonding adventure, let's take a closer look into one of the greatest Dragonbonded in the setting.

Adrael & Nagasha

Blood Emperor Adrael id Tyverianes is a dashing, fearless, and manipulative maghyr, a near-immortal ruler of the Tyverian Empire. Many laud Adrael as a liberator who wrested the realm from a feudal regime based on excess and hedonism. Others whisper in the shadows that he is nothing more than a dictator, whose populist rule is, in its own way, just as bad as his forebears’. 

Adrael’s bonded is Nagasha Magnifex, an artist among dragons as vain as she is cunning and as beautiful as she is scheming.

Adrael stepped over the pile of fresh corpses. The guards’ armor had been rendered useless. Their own blood turned against them in an orgy of sorcerous violence, still drifted over the scene of carnage in a fine red mist, bringing a shimmering haze to the quiet courtyard. Adrael stilled his senses, listening for danger. He extended a hand—clawed and blackened from the exertion of his magic—allowing his fingers to touch a cool pillar of black marble, veined with red and gold. He whispered a charm. The mist of his foes’ blood reacted subtly, listening for the slightest vibration in the marble like an extension of Adrael’s own senses; the merest movement, the shallowest breath. Nothing could hide from the scion of House Tyverianes.

The ground shook as the dragon landed, breaking Adrael’s spell. The scion of Brood Magnifex had arrived, purple-and-black scales gleaming in the smoky light of dusk, serpentine neck arched gracefully with deliberate poise. Nagasha; beautiful, vain, and deadly.

Adrael shook his head. “Didn’t think to lend a hand?” he said.

“You did not seem to need it,” she said, her voice silky and musical as an Allarian operetta. “Besides, the view from overhead is… magnificent. A painting in blood; the very ground your canvas. You really are an artist.”

Adrael sighed. “You know, the Ysvalian thought Ferellon was my bonded dragon. Noble, warlike… qualities I might like in a partner.”

Nagasha stooped, her enormous, finely-sculpted muzzle inches from Adrael’s face.

“Ah,” she purred, “you forget I know you better than you know yourself. You would not get on with a Fulgen. You’d both be too busy vying for supremacy. Besides, at your heart Adrael id Tyverianes, you are even more vain than me. You need someone who appreciates your artistry. And who better to understand you than a Magnifex? The greatest artists of Drakha!”

Adrael sighed again. But this time, because he knew she was right…

Many of our backers asked what's the deal with the Great Wyrms of Drakha book, so let's shed some light on its content, shall we?

Game On! Introducing Roll20 Ready-to-Play Addon

Dragonbond Spotlight! - Eirándi & Tetzcoatl

In order for something to be complete, it must have balance, right? This seems to be the reason why opposites call for each other. Without one side of the coin, the other would not exist in its full form or that seems to be the case at least in today's Dragonbonded Spotlight.

Eirándi & Tetzcoatl

Trained to kill from an early age, Eirándi was a child soldier willing to die for the glory of Nahuac. A no-nonsense warrior and stalker with a penchant for gallows humor, Eirándi is sworn to protect the natural order, by any means necessary. 

Eirándi’s bonded is Tetzcoatl, of the feathered Coatl dragon brood. He is possessed of great knowledge and insatiable curiosity. A positive and uplifting force, Tetzcoatl is the perfect foil for Eirándi’s grim demeanor.

Tetzcoatl dived toward his prey, a thunderclap heralding his sudden attack, stormclouds swirling in his wake in black contrails. The Nix dragon’s eyes blazed red in surprise. The great skeletal wyrm banked left, barely avoiding Tetz’s raking talons, now wreathed in magical energy that coruscated in pulsing arcs, from the tips of his many-colored feathers to the razor-sharp points of his claws. The strike tore fragments of dragonbone and desiccated flesh from the deathless dragon, which now screeched with rage.

Tetzcoatl overshot his target, pulling too late out of the dive.

“Tetz!” Eirándi scolded, trying hard to make herself heard over the storm. “That was clumsy. Now we’ve got a Nix on our tail!” “My tail,” Tetz corrected. “You just hold tight, and let me do the flying.”

Eirándi hunkered low in her saddle and held onto Tetzcoatl’s feathers. She chanced a look over her shoulder. The Nix loomed over them, flying improbably on skinless, skeletal wings. For a moment, its bony neck curved backward, then extended as noxious, sulfurous flame belched forth in a huge gout. Eirándi closed her eyes, expecting to be consumed in dark fire and poisoned fumes. But Tetz had anticipated the move, diving low again, faster than ever.

The Nix gave chase, neither dragon pulling out, the ground rising to meet them fast. Eirándi opened her eyes, feeling the wind and rain whip at her, taking her breath away. It was… glorious!

And like so many times before, Eirándi felt her fear vanish. She whooped and hollered her jaguar-kin war cries, overcome by the thrill of battle. This was the life that had chosen her—the life of the dragonbonded.

And she wouldn’t have it any other way.
